The remains of the former Dean, Postgraduate School of the University of Ilorin, Professor Badmas Olanrewaju Yusuf, would be laid to rest in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital tomorrow (Saturday).
The funeral would be performed on his corpse in line with Islamic injunctions at his family quarters, Maimasa Compound, Ojagboro, Gambari Area of Ilorin at 10am.
One of the children of the deceased and Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, confirmed to this medium tonight (Friday) that the remains of the varsity Don are being conveyed to Ilorin, preparatory to the interment.
Yusuf, a Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Ilorin, died today (Friday) after a brief illness.
He was born in 1957.
Until his transition, the Don was the founder and Imam of Al-Hilal Crescent Mosque, behind Herald Newspapers, Offa Road, GRA, Ilorin.
