A former Chairperson of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Kwara State, Hajia Salmat Iyabo Muhammad, is dead.
She died at the Ilorin General Hospital on Wednesday night after a brief illness.
Aged 63, Hajia Salmat Iyabo Muhammad is the wife of a retired Grand Kadi of Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Salihu Olohuntoyin Muhammad.
Her remains would be buried in line with Islamic injunctions at her residence, Ori-Okoh Annex, Alagbado Area of Ilorin at 2pm today (Thursday).
