Ideological war: 75 local Muslims confirmed dead in Kaiama terror attack ..AbdulRazaq storms town, announces new security measure

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is currently in Kaiama, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State for a firsthand information on the gruesome murder of locals in two communities of Woro and Nuku in the town.
Official confirmation showed that a total of 75 local Muslims were slaughtered for their refusal to embrace a strange doctrine introduced by the terrorists.
Findings revealed that the massacre was not unconnected with an Ideological stand off.
A viral picture sighted showed the remains of the victims lying motionless with blood stains on their bodies.
The incident had sent shockwaves across the country since it happened on Tuesday evening.
On the entourage of the Governor for the visit were heads of security formations in the state.
AbdulRazaq disclosed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had ordered the deployment of an army battalion codenamed ‘Operation Savannah Shield’. #kaiama for immediate counter offensive against the criminals.
It was learnt that the Governor cancelled  official engagements in the wake of the killings to enable share in the grief of the families of the victims.
“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who arrived Kaiama tonight in company of service chiefs and cabinet members, says 75 local Muslims were massacred simply for refusing to surrender to extremists who preached a strange doctrine.
“The Governor, who commiserated with the community, announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved immediate deployment of an army battalion to prosecute counter offensives codenamed ‘Operation Savannah Shield’. #kaiama,” an official statement from the government said.
