A former Chairman, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State, Abdullateef Olaniran Gbadamosi, is dead.
Gbadamosi, popularly known as Coach, reportedly died today (Sunday). However, it could not be immediately ascertained whether he died in Offa or elsewhere.
The erstwhile council chairman, an ally of former of the state Governor, Abdulfatai Ahmed, also served during the tenure of the former governor.
Wind Gate News reports that the Proprietor of Aarif‑billahi Blocks Industry and Properties, Tajudeen Hammed, confirmed the passing of the ex-council leader.
A former Chairman of Ekiti Local Government Area of the state, Yinka Ayeni, admirably referred to as Dallas also confirmed the incident on his verified Facebook Page.
Gbadamosi was widely respected for his leadership and contributions to local governance and community development in Offa.
As of the time of this report, members of his family are yet to issue any official statement in respect of his transition.
