The United States Mission in Nigeria has entered into a partnership with the Ilorin Innovation Hub (IIH).
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the US mission and the IIH formalizes first public-private partnership outside the American Spaces Network.
According to the MoU, the three-year collaboration will expand U.S. presence in Kwara State’s emerging tech sector, delivering programming on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education, and Professional Development.
The Managing Director of Ilorin Innovation Hub (IIH), Temi Kolawole, signed on behalf of the state while an official of US mission stood for his organization.
“Together, we are showcasing American excellence in innovation and creating opportunities that strengthen ties between the United States and Nigeria,” Kolawole said.
