A former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Moshood Olanrewaju Bakare, has emerged as the 2027 House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.
It was learnt that the leadership of the party recently resolved on Bakare’s pick as its flag-bearer.
The ex-lawmaker, it would be recalled, served as Chairman, Kwara State House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation.
Bakare also confirmed his emergence as PDP candidate in a terse post shared on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday morning.
“Friends, I will be running to represent my people. kindly join me in Prayers and Support. it’s Official !!”, the former lawmaker, who represented Omupo Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, wrote.
