Kwara State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the recent massacre in two communities of Kaiama, Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.
AbdulRazaq briefed the President on the incident when he visited the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.
A viral video sighted showed Kwara State Governor giving Tinubu detailed accounts of the massacre that had thrown the country into mourning.
AbdulRazaq led security chiefs to Kaiama between Wednesday night and early morning of Thursday for firsthand information on the incident.
Two communities of Woro and Nuku were attacked with lives and property lost.
During the visit to the affected communities, it was revealed to the Governor that no fewer than 75 local Muslims were brutally slaughtered in the terror attack.
AbdulRazaq, shortly after the briefing, was seen being led out of President’s office by Colonel Nurudeen Yusuf, Aide-Camp (ADC) to President Bola Tinubu.
