The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye, has completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme at Lagos State University, Ojoo.
This was sequel to the successful defence of his thesis at the Permanent Site of the university on Thursday.
Ajakaye earned his Ph.D in History and International Studies.
In a post obtained from his verified Facebook page, the Chief Press Secretary thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for his support, lenience, and understanding throughout the duration of his peak of studentship in the academia.
“Yesterday, Thursday March 12, 2026, I successfully defended my doctoral thesis at the Lagos State University (LASU).
“Alihamdulillaah for His timeless mercies; I ask Him to bless this endeavour.
“I thank all my teachers, especially my supervisor, Prof. Olawale Lawal and co-supervisor, Prof. Bashir Animashaun, for their tireless efforts and mentorship.
“I am grateful to my principal, H.E. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for his immeasurable support, lenience, and understanding.
“I thank my madame and friend, Olasumbo Adedo Ajakaye, FCA, for her patience and support,” he said.
