PDP Rep Aspirant, Daibu salutes Emir of Ilorin on 86th Birthday

A House of Representatives Aspirant for Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdulrahman Bolaji Daibu, has felicitated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on his 86th Birthday Anniversary.
Daibu, a lawyer, in a congratulatory message to the monarch in Ilorin on Wednesday, described Dr Sulu-Gambari as a father figure, a symbol of peace, and a pillar of unity whose influence transcends the Ilorin Emirate
He noted that the monarch’s reign has been defined by wisdom, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility in preserving the dignity and harmony of the traditional institution.
The legal practitioner emphasized that the Emir’s leadership style reflects patience, inclusiveness, and a genuine concern for the well-being of his people.
“Under his reign, the Ilorin Emirate has continued to enjoy stability, mutual understanding, and sustained cultural pride. His ability to unite people from diverse backgrounds while upholding cherished traditions remains a testament to his exceptional character and foresight,” Daibu said.
He highlighted the Emir’s enduring legacy as one rooted in service, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to peace.
The House of Representatives’ aspirant described the monarch as a guiding light whose counsel and fatherly role have consistently shaped the direction of the community and strengthened the bond among its people.
He offered heartfelt prayers for the Emir, wishing him long life, sound health, and unlimited happiness as he continues to reign with grace and wisdom.
The politician urged sons and daughters of Ilorin to celebrate and honour a royal father whose life has been dedicated to unity, progress, and the preservation of cherished traditions, noting that his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
