A young politician, Engr Abdulquawiy Olododo, has unfolded his plans to vie for the House of Representatives’ seat of Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
He is running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olododo, who has stepped aside as Commissioner for Works in Kwara State, met with stakeholders and members of the party in his Ibagun Ward, Okelele, Ilorin East Local Government Area to notify them of his intention.
In a viral video sighted, the aspirant acknowledged the contributions of past lawmakers in the constituency and promised to consolidate on them.
The young politician, reputed for translating the vision of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to reality with the construction of quality roads and other infrastructural projects, assured that he would not disappoint the people of the constituency if given the opportunity.
Wind Gate News reports that Olododo is expected to meet the state leadership of the APC any moment from now to officially submit his letter of intent for the House of Representatives’ seat.
