The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received a boost with Speakers of the State Houses of Assembly of on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) throwing their weight behind the administration.
They made this known after rising from a one-day conference of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Legislature Speakers held in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The conference was themed “Enhancing Legislative Performance through Effective Practice and Procedures.”
This was contained in a statement the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Engr Yakubu Danladi Salihu, issued in Ilorin on Tuesday.
The speakers also pledged support for
governors on the platform of the ruling party as they work in synergy to deliver good governance to the people.
Salihu, in the statement, appreciated his colleagues who participated in the proceedings that led to the passage of the state’s 2026 budget.
“We used the opportunity to reiterate our support for the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and our state governors as we work closely to continue to deliver good governance to our people in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere,” the statement said.
Salihu described the conference as a forum for knowledge acquisition and sharing of ideas.
He said, “Last week in Ilorin, we held a one-day conference of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Legislature Speakers, with the theme “Enhancing Legislative Performance through Effective Practice and Procedures.”
”It was another opportunity to acquire knowledge as we shared ideas to enhance legislative performance. We appreciate our facilitators for a robust, knowledge-impacting session.”
