A former Governor of Kogi State, Ibrahim Idris, is dead.
He died in the early hours of today (Sunday) in the United Kingdom at the age of 77.
The media aide to the late former Governor, Abubakar Yusuf, confirmed the passing of his principal.
Idris, admirably referred to as Ibro, until his transition, was the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
A close source told Wind Gate News that the remains of Ibrahim Idris will be interred in his hometown of Icheke, Omala Local Government Area of the state.
