The stage is set for the new Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani, to officially resume duty.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Islamic scholar is to lead congregants for Juma’ah next Friday (19th June, 2026) at Ilorin Central Mosque.
The Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Abdulraheem Muritala, made this known in a statement issued on Friday afternoon.
Wind Gate News understands that Imam Fulani will deliver his maiden Khutbah (sermon) before he proceeds to lead the congregation in Juma’ah.
Muritala, in the statement, prayed to the Almighty Allah to make it easy for the new Chief Imam, grant him long life with sound health, and bestow upon him the wisdom to officiate the affairs of the Muslim Ummah.
