There was uneasy calm in the early hours of today (Wednesday) when some individuals suspected to be students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin gathered at the main entrance gate into the institution.
The aggrieved students set bonfire on the main road leading to the campus as of the time of filing this report around 6:50am.
It could not be immediately ascertained the reason for the bonfire, which caused panic among road users and residents of the area.
The spot where the bonfire was sighted led to University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
As of the time of this report, none of the aggrieved individuals was available for comment on the reason for their action.
