Rifun served Kwara diligently, says Speaker
..pays tribute to late ex-Commissioner

The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Engr Yakubu Danladi Salihu, has described the transition of the former Commissioner for Commerce and Cooperative in the state, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed Rifun, as a personal loss to him.
He said the deceased served the state and the people diligently.
The speaker stated this in a condolence message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, and made available to Wind Gate News in Ilorin weekend.
He extended his condolences to Rifun’s family, friends and political associates.
“The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly grieves over the death of Hon. Ahmed Mohammed Rifun, commiserates with his family, friends and political associates.
”The passing of Hon. Ahmed Rifun is a personal loss to me.
”Hon. Ahmed Rifun served the state and the people diligently. He had served as the Speaker of the Legislative council in Patigi local government and later, commissioner for commerce and cooperatives at the state executive council.
”May Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgive all the shortcomings of Hon. Ahmed Ma’ajinMohammed Rifun, admit him to Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort his loved ones,” the condolence message added.
