The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC Governorship Candidate, Engr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has described the transition of the Khalifatul-l-Adabiyah, Sheikh Abdulqodir Kamaldeen Al-Adaby, as a monumental loss.
He stated that the demise of the Islamic leader was not only to the Adabiyyah family but also to the Ilorin Emirate and the Muslim community as a whole.
The Speaker said this in a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, and made available to Journalists in Ilorin weekend.
The statement was titled “Kwara Speaker commiserates with Adabiyyah family as Sheikh Abdulqodir passes away.”
The APC gubernatorial flag-bearer specifically commiserated with the family of the deceased, the Emir of Ilorin, the Ilorin Emirate community, and the Ansarul Islam family worldwide.
“The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC Governorship Candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has extended condolences to the Adabiyyah family over the passing of their leader, Sheikh Abdulqodir Kamaldeen Al-Adaby.
“On behalf of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Tenth Legislature, Rt. Hon. Engr Danladi-Salihu prays that Allah forgives Sheikh Abdulqodir Kamaldeen and grants him Aljanat Firdaus, and gives the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss,” the statement partly read.
