As part of its annual Ramadan initiative, the Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman (SAS) Foundation has launched a food distribution programme aimed at providing relief and support to 10,000 people in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The Founder and Chairman of the foundation, Engr Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman, stated this in his Ramadan message, which was made available to Journalists in Ilorin on Wednesday.
The initiative, Saleeman noted, was designed to cushion the effects of economic hardship and ensure that beneficiaries observe the fasting period with dignity.
Reaffirming his commitment to humanitarian service, the founder stated that the foundation remains actively engaged in community development efforts across the state.
He noted that during the last Ramadan, the foundation provided food support to over 1,000 families across various institutions in the state.
Saleeman called on residents of Kwara State to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace, security, and prosperity across the state and Nigeria.
He urged Muslims to embrace compassion, generosity, and unity, stressing the importance of supporting people in need during the sacred month.
The SAS foundation chairman described the holy month as a time of spiritual renewal, self-reflection, and divine guidance, encouraging Kwarans and Nigerians in the diaspora to uplift one another through acts of kindness and charity.
Saleeman also extended his Ramadan greetings and prayers to Mai Martaba Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, praying for his continued good health and wisdom in providing leadership to the people of Ilorin Emirate, as well as to the entire Emirate Council and Council of Ulamas.
The Director General of the foundation, Mallam Muslim Saleeman, reiterated the organization’s dedication to grassroots development and community-driven philanthropy.
He said, “Our mission is to empower lives and build brighter future by bringing sustainable change to communities, empowering individuals, and fostering a culture of giving.”
Beyond his philanthropic engagements, Saleeman is a respected global IT leader, who has spearheaded digital transformation projects at major Fortune 500 companies in the United States, including Lowe’s, Target, and Southwest Airlines.
